Fractured Void Centauri

In the glint of the night a sudden flash shattered throughout the sky. On March 20th, 2103 the heavens filled with celestial dust that spread swiftly throughout the cosmos. It was on this day that the Alpha Centauri star system collapsed upon itself and changed the fate of the universe as we knew it. When the stars collided, the system imploded into a billion particles creating a rupture in the fragment of space. Left in the wake of this astronomical phenomenon, was the first ever Fractured Void. A Fractured Void is an intermediate black hole fifty times larger than the size of our sun with a crackled event horizon, melding light between the fabrics of dimensions. Forget everything you thought you knew about space and science, because in the flash of a light it became so much more.

The celestial dust spread far and wide reaching all parts of the universe. As the sapphire-speckled hue blushed across the vacancy of space the celestial dust filled the universe with its exponential high levels of hydrogen and vast amounts of nebula clusters. These tumbling nebula clusters contained newfound elements and unique particles more dynamic and versatile than we could ever imagine. When the impacts of the star system’s collapse finally reached Earth, the dust itself sprinkled across the sky a deep dark bluish shade and unleashed mass quantities of hydrogen into our atmosphere. Along with it came two new superior elements inhabited inside every sole nebula cluster.

Of these two elements Voridion served to be the most utilitarian of the two. Voridion replaced our need for gasoline and coal, and when combined with hydrogen became the prime fuel source of the world — proving more efficient than twenty-five nuclear power plants. The other element known as Centurium proved very useful in our search for a sturdier metal. When heated exponentially and fused with liquid nitrogen, Centurium solidifies, creating an alloy with the ability to withstand intense quantities of pressure and severe degrees of heat. With these new advanced elements and the drastically shifted state of the universe, our world was changed forever.

(International Void Association)

With Void Centauri now residing within proximity to our star system, we were now under the grasp of its gravitational pull. The Sun still being prominent in its pull within the Solar system kept the planets together and uniform in shape, but slowly the planets ellipticals began to stretch and expand towards the gravitational forces of Void Centauri. With these slight variations and changing weather conditions, the planet was in turmoil. Our newfound hydrogen-rich atmosphere caused a drastic increase in natural disasters, with flooding becoming the main cause of death internationally. Within less than a month, the planet became radically colder as it moved slightly away from the sun.

However, it was only a matter of time before the Earth was to revert into a stage of immense heat as the elliptical orbit pulled the planet back towards the sun. Under these trying circumstances, rivalries were mended and alliances were formed across the world between all national governments and organizations. Together these united nations formed the International Void Association, otherwise known as the IVA. Under this association, experts and analysts from all over the world joined together in order to study the effects of Void Centauri and diagnose the best course of action for our species survival.

It has been 7 years since the Fractured Void, and the desire for survival escalates with every passing day. But thanks to the brilliant scientists and engineers at the IVA, and the practical integration of Voridion and Centurium, state-of-the-art highly functional spacecrafts and vacuum-sealed heat resistant structures were developed and introduced. Due to such technological advancements, the IVA was able to pioneer planets within the Solar System; jumping between Venus and Mars, inhabiting whatever planet holds the most optimum conditions of survival at that time. However, this pattern of survival is unsustainable… projections suggest that habitability levels will exceed past livable on any celestial body in approximately three years time. The IVA deduced that if the solution to human existence couldn’t be found in this star system, it was time to discover a different solution in a system new and unknown.

Fifteen months ago, the IVA launched the first ever interstellar space exploration. Mission Centaur was a scouting mission tasked with collecting samples and intelligence about Void Centauri and its surrounding nebulas. During their voyage, the Void’s intensity proved tenacious as the Voiders became entrapped by the interweaving light of its photon ring. All communication went static, and we can only assume that they were engulfed by the depths of the Void. It was entrusted to Commander Altair’s crew to follow in Centauri’s footsteps —focusing on the Void’s planetary system and celestial occurrences. But his aspirations are so much more. It is his belief that the Fractured Void is an astrologically made gateway linking this universe to another where the possibilities are limitless.

An incoming log from Commander Jones Altair…

My name is Jones Altair, commander of Mission Scorpius and son of Estella Altair, captain of the Voider Space Force. We just reached the outskirts of Void Centauri’s gravitational field collecting vapor samples of the nebulous cloud. If we can take the inherent path of the photon ring and follow the light as it enters through the shattered event horizon, we believe that we can boost through the void and reach further beyond. The real adventure is just a light stream away!

Gameplay story

Following the loop of light, Mission Scorpius thrusts into position and powers down all engines. Solely propelled by the forces of the photon ring, the Voiders now dive deep into the base of the Void, allowing it to consume them in darkness as they faint due to surging G-Force. Awoken by the shrieks that reside outside the spacecraft, the Voiders slowly regain consciousness. Altair rises from his chair, gazing out the windshield as a colossal blue flame flickers across the front side of spacecraft Axius. An ear-churning screech bellows from the jaws of this monstrous beast, as if to warn all beings known and unknown of its dominant presence. A swarming stream of inferno emits from the creature spraying upon the emptiness of space like a canvas full of artistic blaze. The Voiders on Mission Scorpius are not alone, and they are definitely not safe. It is now a feat of observation and evaluation that provides the best chance for our crews survival.

What is the Lumen void

The Lumenvoid is a distant dimension parallel to our very own. This mysterious universe shows strong indications of prosperous life with many vibrant speckles of lights shining throughout the cosmos. These light sources comprise a multitude of energetic stars, and terrestrial and jovian planets just waiting to be explored. The most prevalent notations of viable life are the two commanding species propagating in proximity to spacecraft Axius. What is most remarkable about this universe is the grand spectacle of a glistening Bright Void glaring with a radiance brighter than any star. This Bright Void stands as the archway between this dimension and our very own. In reverse to the Fractured Void, this gaping apparatus pushes gravitational energy externally while blending the vacant darkness between the two dimensions creating an influx of dark matter circulating around the Bright Void. The possibilities are endless for what lies within this strange dimension, who knows what the voiders will encounter.
